 The Wonderbase is the contents of my studio.
Instead of a database, where each datum is stored and brought together to turn into information, I have collected fragments, which, when placed together, generate in me a sense of wonder.
The Wonderbase includes images, artefacts and objects that speak of our connection with the natural world now, fragments from before the industrial age, and how we must re-connect in the future to survive the post-industrial age and peak oil — only this time with the help of technological innovation and the new sphere of the virtual world. |
